Regulations
For the 78th Venice International Film Festival, La Biennale di Venezia is instituting a prize, awarded by the audiences to the best film from the Orizzonti Extra Section, in collaboration with Armani beauty.
The winner of the Armani beauty Audience Award will be determined by the votes cast by the spectators of the 8 films in the Orizzonti Extra section, limited to the official screenings of each film in the line-up at the Palabiennale at 9 pm.
All spectators attending the screening of each individual film in any capacity have the right to express their vote, either as purchasers of individual tickets, holders of a pass to the Orizzonti Extra Section, or accredited visitors who have made a reservation to view the screening free of charge. Members of the film delegations and their guests do not have the right to vote.
Each admission ticket will bear a code that must be entered in a dedicated area on the website vff.boxol.it, or by clicking directly on the link included in the ticket. After accessing the page, spectators can rate the films from 1 to 10. The code may be used one time only, after which it is no longer valid.
Each spectator in possession of a code to vote must rate the film before 8 pm on the day after the official screening of the film. In the case of the last film, scheduled for Friday September 10th, the vote must be cast before 1 pm on Saturday September 11th.
The Armani Beauty Audience Award will be awarded to the film with the highest average of the votes expressed by viewers. The award will be conferred during the closing awards ceremony on Saturday September 11th in the Sala Grande (Palazzo del Cinema, Lido di Venezia).
