62nd International Festival of Contemporary Music
The 62nd International Festival of Contemporary Music ran from 28th September to 7th October. This year too the activities of the Biennale College - Musica were part of the program: an international call for applications was launched in order to support the production of a maximum of 4 micro-budget chamber theatre works.
The awards of the Biennale Musica 2018 have been attributed to American pianist and composer Keith Jarrett, who is this year’s recipient of the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement, and to Franco-Argentinian composer Sebastian Rivas, who received the Silver Lion award on 6th October before the performance of his opera, Aliados.
